PRODUCT CARE
I make all products in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. Every piece is handmade. There may be slight inconsistencies making each unique piece.
Cleaning
A care card is included with each purchased piece.

Displaying quilted wall art
There are several ways to display your quilted wall art.

  • Curtain rod — a sleeve will be located on the back of unmounted quilted wall art pieces, which will allow you to use a curtain rod to hang the artwork. Simply slip the rod through the sleeve and the piece will be ready to hang on the wall.

  • Drapery clips — a great way to display your quilted wall art is using drapery clips and then hang from a rod. Note: using drapery clips may leave a dented impression in the artwork fabric; use at your discretion.

  • Canvased wall art - quilted/textiled art stretched on canvas can be hung using the sawtooth hanger attached on the back.

  • Quilted/Textiled art on canvas are heavier than the product made only of fabric. The majority of the pieces are less than 5 lbs. (non-canvased). It is at your discretion how you attach the hardware to the wall. Threads Textile Designs is not responsible for any wall damage that could possibly occur.

PRICING

The pricing of product is based on materials used, labor, taxes, and processing and shipping fees. Products made with hand-dyed fabric will be priced higher due to the labor time involved and materials used to create the designs.

PURCHASING

Shipping
Threads Textile Designs currently only ships within the continental U.S. through either the postal system or UPS. The method of shipping depends on the product size and will include tracking. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Delivery – Do you offer local/Pittsburgh area in-person delivery?
No, Threads Textile Designs does not deliver products in-person. I only ship to U.S. addresses via the U.S. postal system or UPS.

Lay-away/Payment Plans
Threads Textile Designs does not offer a lay-away or payment plans.

Do you offer custom-made products based on the purchaser’s requests?
Currently, I am not accepting custom-made orders. However, I plan to offer this service in the future.

Do you make quilted blankets?
Yes, Threads Textile Designs does make quilted blankets and will be offering a variety of limited sizes in the future.

Returns and Refunds

  • Due to the handmade nature of my products, all sales are final.

  • Returns or exchanges are only accepted if an item arrives damaged or defective.

  • Damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery, with photos included.

  • Refunds (if applicable) are processed once the item is returned in the original condition and packaging.

  • Custom orders - due to the made-to-order nature, Threads does not offer returns for custom-made orders.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, I will work with you to find a solution. I can offer to replace the item or exchange it for credit. Please include original packaging and receipt.

Threads Textile Designs values your privacy 100% and will not share your information.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout.
My gift cards have no additional processing fees. Please note: Threads Textile Designs gift cards will be available to purchase in November 2025.
